Radiesse® is an injectable biostimulation treatment used in aesthetic medicine to gradually improve skin firmness, density and overall quality.

When used in a diluted or hyperdiluted form, it acts as a collagen stimulator by encouraging the skin to strengthen its own support structures.

Who is Radiesse® suitable for?

Radiesse® may be indicated for patients who wish to improve mild to moderate skin laxity without changing facial volumes.

• the hands.

How does collagen biostimulation work?

Radiesse® works by gradually stimulating the skin’s natural support mechanisms.

In its hyperdiluted form, it is not intended to fill a wrinkle or create volume. It is used to encourage the production of new collagen fibres and improve the skin’s structure over time.

Results therefore appear progressively. The skin may look firmer, denser and better supported over the weeks and months following treatment.

Treatment session, recovery and results

The treatment is performed in the medical office. Radiesse® is injected in targeted areas, according to a protocol adapted to the treatment area and the patient’s skin quality.

After the session, mild redness, swelling, local sensitivity or small bruises may appear. These effects are generally temporary.

The result is not immediate in the same way as with a filler. The improvement is progressive because it is based on collagen stimulation. Several weeks to several months may be needed to fully appreciate the improvement in skin firmness and quality.

Depending on the patient’s needs, Radiesse® may be proposed alone or integrated into a broader Skin Quality protocol, in combination with other treatments such as skinboosters, polynucleotides or microneedling.
